  • Introduction:
Young and Wild. These two word's describe the book so well. It's about a girl named Elise Dembowski who tries her level best to fit into the "popular gang" of her school. For year's she has failed miserably and constantly made fun of. Before the start of a new year she decide's to end this misery once and for all by reading top fashion trend magazines, frequent visit's to the mall's clothing section and buying highly expensive makeup products which she assumes would help her reach the ultimate goal. But Will It?

Elise discover's that the answer is no as she continues to get bullied. Her day's in school turned out to be much more worse. Her solution - Suicide. But something inside her tells her to keep moving on. One night she goes for a  stroll only to discover a night club where she meet's two girls. They get her into the night club where she find's her passion - DJ'ING. She is coached and taught using the equipment by a man - Char who she end's up falling in love with.

All seemed to be going good for Elise until one day when she log's into the online world only to discover that someone has been writing on her blog. Someone has been talking about suicide and different way's of how she could do it. Elise freaks out as she get's dragged into the dark side of the internet. Thing's start to go more bad to worse.

Regaining her confidence was tough and took a lot of strength as she searches on to find the culprit. After successfully catching the culprit everything's settles back into place and Elise unknowingly becomes the most popular and respected in her school. Everything end's happily.

  • My thoughts :
According to me the book is fun. It convey's a message : THERE ARE NO LIMIT'S! Go by the You Only Live Once Rule and live life to its potential. It also portray's the image of a not so perfect girl who's life changes ( Possibly my fav thing about this book ) I absolutely love the character's and would love to read more of Leila Sales book's!

Thank you so much for reading this tiny book review which may or may not help. I honestly really enjoyed this and look forward to making more. Have a great day ahead!
